dspace/dspace-postgres-4x repository overview

⁠Purpose

This image is intended to provide a database image for DSpace⁠ Version 4x.

DSpace 4x is still a supported branch for the DSpace project. DSpace 4x does not include Flyway DB. Therefore, a specialized image is required in order to load the database schema.

⁠Recommendation

To preserve database content when stopping an image, direct the database to store data on a docker volume using the PGDATA variable.
