⁠This image is used for building Zimbra FOSS 9 and 10 from official Synacor github, please follow this instructions or our video guide https://youtu.be/hEmEVLNsIIw⁠:

First you need to create a github account do not attempt to build Zimbra without completing this step, as it simply won't work.

⁠Create the following temporary directories on your system and pull the image:

mkdir ~/ubuntu18

cd ~/ubuntu18

mkdir ssh

mkdir volume

docker pull docker.io/ovox/zimbrabuild-ubuntu18

⁠Create a rsa key:

ssh-keygen -t rsa -b 4096 -C "[email protected]⁠" -f ~/ubuntu18/ssh/id_rsa

⁠Upload the contents of id_rsa.pub here: https://github.com/settings/keys⁠

⁠Try your key with GitHub via SSH.

chmod 700 ~/ubuntu18/ssh/id_rsa

ssh -T [email protected]⁠ -i ~/ubuntu18/ssh/id_rsa

⁠Build zimbra 9 for ubuntu18:

cd ~/ubuntu18

docker run --rm --name "zimbrabuild_ubuntu18"
-v $PWD/volume:/home/git/BUILDS
-v $PWD/ssh:/root/.ssh
-e BUILD_NO="0001"
-e BUILD_RELEASE="KEPLER"
-e BUILD_RELEASE_NO="9.0.0"
-e BUILD_OS="UBUNTU18_64"
