⁠spt3g

This is an unofficial image providing the spt3g_software⁠ package installed in an Ubuntu 22.04 environment. It serves as a base image for the Simons Observatory images requiring the spt3g package.

Note: As of version 0.3-276-gbe879ce the image is based on Ubuntu 22.04. Tags 0.3-275-g2660f2a and earlier are based on Ubuntu 20.04. Tags 0.3-22-gb6c2c52 and earlier are based on Ubuntu 18.04.

⁠Dockerfile and Tags

The Dockerfile for building this image can be found here⁠. Automated builds are triggered if changes have been made to the upstream repo. The 'latest' tag is used for the latest changes, and more specific tags are given based on the git commit hash. Choose your tag accordingly.

For a quick interactive session to look at some data you can run:

docker run -it --rm -v /location/of/data/:/data simonsobs/spt3g /usr/bin/python3
